From 2006 through 2010, my wife & I operated a rescue mission in the Canon City area & continue to donate our time & talent. I am a family man with a devotion to God, my beautiful wife, and our children & grandchildren.
Joni joined the Zerby Team in January 2018 as the Office Administrator. In her time at Kurt Zerby Real Estate Group she has gained extensive Real Estate Knowledge under the mentorship of Kurt. In January 2020, she completed and passed her National and Colorado Real Estate Exams, and is expected to receive her Real Estate License soon. Her team role is to assure sure all transactions from listing to closing run smoothly and all clients' needs are met. Working closely with Kurt, she is responsible for tracking all dates and deadlines, making sure all paperwork is signed and received in a timely manner, and keeping all parties in the transaction informed. Joni is also responsible for marketing listed properties, assuring the information reaches the mass public, as well as ensuring the office daily operations run smoothly.
Joni has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology & Sociology and a Master's Degree in Non-profit Management. She has an extensive background in the non-profit sector which has taught her the value of creating lasting personal and professional relationships.

Jessica, is the Administrative Assistant, joining the Kurt Zerby Real Estate Group team in September 2019. She previously worked in a doctor's office for 3 years. Her experience has taught her patience, importance of attention to detail, prioritization, and strong work ethic. She is often the first person you see when you visit or the greeting you hear when you call. She is responsible for ensuring all listing transactions are accounted for in a timely manner, arranging showings for listed properties and assisting the rest of the staff in the office with day to day activities.

JoDeen is a Buyer’s Specialist, joining the Kurt Zerby Real Estate Group Team in February 2019. She earned her Accredited Buyer's Representative Certification in August 2019, meaning she focuses on buyers' at ever stage of the home buying process. In September 2019, JoDeen received her Gerneration Buy accreditation, equipping her to better assist the multi-generational homebuyers.
