She is responsible for coordinating everything from contract till closing. Working closely with Kurt she is responsible for tracking all dates and deadlines, making sure all paperwork is signed and received in a timely manner, and keeping all parties to the transaction informed.
Christina has an Associates Degree in Medical Assisting but enjoys working on the Zerby Team so much that she is now going back to school to get her real estate license.
In her spare time she is a self-proclaimed do-it-yourselfer. She loves home projects and enjoys sewing and crocheting. Her greatest accomplishment and that which she is most proud are her three children. As a single Mom, she teaches by example and has taught them to be respectful and self-reliant.
When asked how she likes her job, she says, “I don't like my job I LOVE my CAREER! We are more than just a team, we are like family. We all work together to keep things running smoothly and have a good time while we do so. If I had to pick one thing I like most, it would have to be being part of such a big milestone in a lot of peoples’ lives. Buying or selling a home can be a very stressful process and I do everything in my power to ensure things run as smooth and stress free as possible.”
Ashley moved to Canon City from California in 2015. Before she became a Zerby team member, she worked 15 years as an Executive Administrator for a Fortune 500 company. On the Zerby Team, Ashley is the Listing Coordinator and is the central point of contact for home sellers once they have listed their property with Kurt. Responsible for all marketing and advertising Ashley makes sure that all homes get top exposure. She coordinates all showings with the home seller and afterward follows up with the showing agent to get feedback.
In her personal life, Ashley is the proud mom of five children. She is an avid outdoor person and enjoys doing just about anything out and about town. She especially enjoys time with her family. When asked she will tell you her proudest achievement is her role as a mother. To her there is no greater or more important job.
Working for Kurt has inspired Ashley to return to school for her real estate license. She says Kurt is a great role model and friend. Every day she learns something new and she hopes to follow in his footsteps.
Born Trudy Jo Roberts in 1963, in Pueblo, CO. Trudy Zerby; Kurt’s wife, is the youngest of three orphan children, having lost her parents very early in her childhood. From that Trudy has learned the value of “family and home”, a value shared with her husband Kurt. After 32 years with St. Thomas More Hospital, Trudy retired from her job as a Pharmaceutical Buyer in 2015. Her experience in purchasing, business management, and employee relations, along with her life story make her a valuable back office asset to our team.
